If you don’t want to take a long drive, you can find leisure centers in Île-de-France in the nearby suburbs. About ten kilometers southeast of Paris, on the A86 highway, the one in the city of Créteil, located by a 42-hectare lake, offers activities such as swimming, sailing, kayaking, table tennis, or fishing. In Essonne, 40 minutes from Paris via the National 6 or 7, the Port aux Cerises Leisure Center has a recently renovated swimming area, with many facilities: a fun area with a wave pool, a six-lane slide, a children’s area with two paddling pools, water games, a solarium… There are other leisure centers in Île-de-France, accessible in more than half an hour’s drive from Paris.

Seine-et-Marne includes several sites where you can swim in Île-de-France, notably the Jablines-Annet leisure center. Located 40 km from Paris, accessible in 40 minutes via the A4 highway, it has the most beautiful beach in Île-de-France. In addition to swimming, you can enjoy windsurfing, kayaking, catamaran sailing, and fishing. Still on the A4, then the A104, 35 minutes from Paris, the Vaires-Torcy leisure center offers 150 hectares of green spaces with two bodies of water and a beach, as well as many water activities. In Yvelines, several leisure centers in Île-de-France welcome you for a weekend of relaxation, swimming, and water sports: the Boucles de Seine center in Moissons, 74 km from Paris on the A13 highway, covering an area of 350 hectares including 120 of lake; the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines center, around the largest body of water in Île-de-France, accessible in 35 minutes by following the A86, then the A12 or A13. Finally, Val de Seine, 38 km on the A14 highway, is one of the most beautiful leisure centers in Île-de-France, with its 260 hectares of greenery, ponds, and a beach designed for swimming and relaxation.
